Marcus Anthony Hunter is the coauthor of the new book Chocolate Cities, which will be published by the University of California Press in Fall 2017. Having received his PhD in sociology from Northwestern in 2011, Hunter is the coauthor of the award-winning books Black Citymakers (Oxford University Press, 2013) and This Ain’t Chicago (University of North Carolina Press, 2014) respectively. Robinson is currently Assistant Professor of Anthropology & Sociology at Rhodes College. His commentary on a range of topics including race, class, politics, music, and urban America can be found in the New York Times, Rolling Stone, the Washington Post, and the Annual Review of Sociology.
